Maza Gems began in 1992 as a private collection of rare sapphires and emeralds acquired by our founder. With a deep admiration for the natural geometry of crystals, we expanded from trading rough mineral gems to establishing a boutique design house in Sri Lanka.
Today, Maza Gems serves discerning collectors, private investors, and clients searching for the ultimate expression of love through custom-designed engagement rings and celebratory custom works.

We believe that true luxury lies in absolute transparency. Every ruby, sapphire, emerald, and diamond under our care is traceably mined. We maintain long-standing, direct relationships with artisanal mining cooperatives in Sri Lanka, Madagascar, and Colombia.
We strictly operate under fair-trade labor guidelines, ensuring that our sourcing practices elevate and support local mining communities. All loose gemstones are delivered with GIA, IGI, or HRD laboratory certifications.
Hand-Forged by Master Goldsmiths
While we supply exceptional loose gems to global collectors, our specialty is housing them in bespoke setting designs. Our Beruwala atelier is home to veteran goldsmiths who combine centuries-old hand-forging techniques with state-of-the-art optical alignment.
We work in high-grade 18K solid yellow gold, white gold, and pure Platinum 950. Every claw, bezel, and band is hand-finished to fit the individual proportions of the chosen gemstone, creating a balanced and comfortable masterpiece.
